Big Give Christmas Challenge 2011

Tibet is sadly back in the news with the recent tragic cases of self-immolations, highlighting the utter frustration and ultimate despair of those who have to live under such a repressive regime in occupied Tibet. People in Tibet are dying now. In prison, of starvation and as a result of torture. And for those who find their situation so intolerable, they are taking their own lives.

We were given the most amazing opportunity by the Big Give Christmas Challenge to change the lives of Tibetan prisoners of conscience and their families and thanks to the huge generosity of our donors, we reached, and exceeded, the target of £20,000 for our Emergency Fund for Tibet. 

We are so grateful to all our supporters but we still need your help!  Any donations above our Challenge target and gifts sent in separately will help Tibetan and other prisoners of conscience around the world to rebuild their lives, and will support countless families through hard times while their loved ones are imprisoned.
